Production Blog: Finalizing the website

Hey blog! Its me again. Today I will be adding our film onto the website I've been building since the beginning of our journey. So lets get started. The website was organized into separate pieces so it was easier for the audience to view and so they can process the film in an order that will make them engaged. We wanted the film to be towards the top of the website and add the postcard underneath because we wanted it to be the first thing people see when they open the website. Adding it was a difficult process and we had to search up how to embed a video onto a website so it could play when the mouse goes over the play button. I was able to embed it and it looked perfect in that position. I then added the description and proceeded to add the postcard my partner Mariana had made. We wanted to double check how our film and website looked in the eyes of others so we each asked one person to view our package. I asked my sister to view the website and the film. She enjoyed the layout of the website and saw nothing that should've been changed. When she viewed the film she did point out the scenes where we filmed during sunset was very evident from when the sun was already gone. Marianas peer reviewer had also pointed out the same details however she had more enjoyment of the film. So we realized the age of the audience may have an impact of how you view the film.

Title Research: Art of the Title Website

Hello everyone,     Welcome back to another blog! Today, I will be discussing with you our websites on title research. The title design in opening sequences is extremely important. So, it’s equally as important to properly plan. Because of this, my group has made sure to use the best websites to research our titles and title research. The two websites I have chosen for this research are http://www.artofthetitle.com/ and http://www.watchthetitles.com/. These websites are really good for many reasons. The first is that art of the Title website has movies from around the world, which is really good for variety and helps to research broader styles and genres.     Additionally, the site features title designs of film, television, conference, and video game industries. Again, this is very good for a broad selection. The other website, Watchthetitles.com, has over 200 title sequences, along with video interviews, and articles about movie titles. They are both great we...

critical creative reflection

In this music video I have learned a lot from my groupmate's and technology. The process wasnt easy but it was done. In our music video my group and I decided to challenge the conventions. In the genre most of it follows what the song is saying or shows two scenes but goes back and forth. In our music video we made a script in which we acted out what the song felt like for us. One meaning we had of the song was drifting apart from a relationship and learning to let go, the other was realizing your actions and feeling guilt after. An issue this music video represented was jealousy and how it can come over your actions. The girl (maddie) realized that her friend and boyfriend were cheating behind her back and she took action by drowning the girl. A group this video could affect would be jealous people or people who cheat and lead people on. It could help them to understand how their actions can really affect people from the other side and be considerate. This music vid...

I’m the youngest of my four siblings. Our household also includes two dogs, a Yorkie and a Pomsky, and a Tuxedo cat. In terms of academics, math and science are my favorite subjects. My goal this school year is to maintain straight A's for at least two quarters and successfully pass my AICE exams. I’ve been in band for 4 years, where I played the alto saxophone before transitioning to the trombone. I also have a desire to learn how to play the piano and guitar in the future. When it comes to reading, I’m attracted towards books with intricate plot twists and dramatic themes. Outside of the classroom, I'm passionate about soccer. The positions I play are center back and center mid. In the future, I aspire to pursue a career in the medical field, with a particular interest in becoming a veterinarian. I would love to...
