Elements I enjoyed in the film were the suspense and fear that was built, especially with the lighting and eerie music. The mood it creates really fits the horror genre.

Elements I didn't enjoy very much were the close-up shots however they serve a very valuable purpose in the storytelling and mood.

critical creative reflection

In this music video I have learned a lot from my groupmate's and technology. The process wasnt easy but it was done. In our music video my group and I decided to challenge the conventions. In the genre most of it follows what the song is saying or shows two scenes but goes back and forth. In our music video we made a script in which we acted out what the song felt like for us. One meaning we had of the song was drifting apart from a relationship and learning to let go, the other was realizing your actions and feeling guilt after. An issue this music video represented was jealousy and how it can come over your actions. The girl (maddie) realized that her friend and boyfriend were cheating behind her back and she took action by drowning the girl. A group this video could affect would be jealous people or people who cheat and lead people on. Introduction for final task

Hey blog! its me again, I will be starting my final task soon. My name is Karina Sánchez, and I'm currently a 10th grade student at Fort Lauderdale High School. I’m the youngest of my four siblings. Our household also includes two dogs, a Yorkie and a Pomsky, and a Tuxedo cat. In terms of academics, math and science are my favorite subjects. My goal this school year is to maintain straight A's for at least two quarters and successfully pass my AICE exams. I’ve been in band for 4 years, where I played the alto saxophone before transitioning to the trombone. I also have a desire to learn how to play the piano and guitar in the future. Genre decision blog

Hey blog! it’s me again!now that in the previous blogs, three genres were talked about, these genres were action, thriller, and finally mystery. Although all of the genres are good one stands out the most. The group has decided that the genre for the final task will be mystery. The reason the group chose this genre is that the pitch was two people in a mirror maze facing death, they are being searched by a killer so it is very strange to see that. Not knowing who the killer is makes the audience curious and puzzled about who the killer is and that is why the killer is chasing the two friends. It was a close call with mystery and thriller but having curiosity and trying to figure out who the killer is, leans more into the mystery genre so that is what the final decision was. In this genre there are high-angle shots, low-angle shots, and long shots are common in mystery movies. Common camera movements would be, long tracking shots and tight tracking shots....
