Intro blog for short film

Hey, blog! It's me again. I will be starting a new project today, leading to my final project. My name is Karina Sánchez, and I'm currently an 11th grade student at Fort Lauderdale High School. I’m the youngest of four siblings. Our household includes two dogs, a Yorkie, a Pomsky, and a Tuxedo cat.

In terms of academics, math and science are my favorite subjects. My goal this school year is to maintain straight A's for at least two quarters and successfully pass my AICE exams.

I’ve been in the band for 4 years, where I played the alto saxophone before transitioning to the trombone. I also have a desire to learn how to play the piano and guitar in the future. When it comes to reading, I’m attracted to books with intricate plot twists and dramatic themes.

Outside of the classroom, I'm passionate about soccer. The positions I play are center back and center mid. I began to play soccer for my school last year and continued on this year! In the future, I aspire to pursue a career in the medical field, with a particular interest in becoming a veterinarian. I would love to attend The University of Florida for my college education.

In terms of personal preferences, light blue is my favorite color, and my favorite drinks are açaí blueberry pomegranate vitamin Zero, and horchata. My dream home is a modern Spanish-style residence with a swimming pool. One of my favorite musical artists is Tyler The Creator. I’m a huge fan of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with my top three favorite heroes being Thor, Black Panther, and Spiderman. In my free time, I enjoy streaming shows on Netflix, Hulu, and Disney Plus. While it's tough to pick just one favorite show, if I had to choose, I'd go with "The Originals," a series about vampires, werewolves, and witches.

These are aspects of my life and aspirations that provide a glimpse of who I am. I hope you enjoyed learning more about me. See you later!

Script blog for Short Film

Hey blog! It’s me again! Today i will present my script for my short film FADE IN   SCENE 1 – Living Room at Night   A dimly lit suburban home. A storm rumbles outside, rattling the windows. RILEY (19), a babysitter, sits on the couch, lazily scrolling through her phone. LANA (8), a pale and quiet child, sits cross-legged on the floor, drawing in a notebook.   RILEY   (chuckles)   You have been s quiet all   Youâ €™ ve been so quiet all night, Lana. You sure youâ €™re not a robot?     Lana looks up at her, expression unreadable, then flips her notebook to a blank page and scribbles something. She holds it up:     “Sheâ €™s watching.â €     RILEY   (frowning)   Uhâ €¦ whoâ €™s watching?     Lana points toward the dark hallway leading to the bedrooms. Riley follows her gazeâ €”just darkness.     RILEY   Nice try. You trying to freak me out?     Lana shakes her head, eyes wi...

Music Video

Hey blog! its me again! This is the final result of the music video, hope you enjoy! Karina logging off.

Our Pitch

Pitch A:  three friends get a ride home, one still waits. Who is the man that picks her up? Pitch B: Two friends get lost in a mirror maze but they see death in their reflection For pitch A it would be really interesting filming this, I believe that it would be easier filming this than pitch b. This film would be filmed at night because it adds more of a dangerous tension to the film. What I do not enjoy about this film is that its a basic storyline where the person gets kidnapped by a random car ride. On the other hand pitch b is more unique and creates a better tension. Also choosing a location to film this would be difficult as well. Pitch B would be a really fun film to be filmed. It would take place at a carnival and there will be a killer. We found this pitch be very unique compared to our first. This film would include a lot of tone and facial expressions when being filmed. The only bad thing about this film is that it may be difficult to film due to different availabl...
