Production blog: Finalized, likes and dislikes

Hey blog! its me again. My group and I have officially finished our editing part of the filming. Today i will be talking about what I liked and what I disliked about the process of this film. Starting off with my likes. I liked putting the clips together. I liked this because firstly it was easy for me to do because I have done it in previous projects. Secondly I enjoyed seeing how the clips looked coming together and making one big thing, There's something about how it makes you feel closer to being finished.  Another thing I liked was doing the voice overs. Although it was one of the hardest things to edit, it was fun to record. Listening to my group mates voice overs was also enjoyable. Something I enjoyed most of all was getting together with my partners and filming. Again although it took us so many tries, the process of filming was very fun. Watching the final product with my group mates was also a highlight of this film. I don’t have many dislikes, but the ones i do mainly have to do with editing. I was frustrated at first with the voice overs and music. After adapting to the process it become easier. The only problem with editing such as voice overs and music is that it is time consuming. There was a point where my hands began to get tired i had to rest them. But a good outcome in this dislike is the final product and seeing how good the work was worth for. That’s it for today blog! Until next time. Karina logging off.

RILEY (19), a babysitter, sits on the couch, lazily scrolling through her phone. LANA (8), a pale and quiet child, sits cross-legged on the floor, drawing in a notebook.   RILEY   (chuckles)   You have been s quiet all   Youâ €™ ve been so quiet all night, Lana. You sure youâ €™re not a robot?     Lana looks up at her, expression unreadable, then flips her notebook to a blank page and scribbles something. She holds it up:     “Sheâ €™s watching.â €     RILEY   (frowning)   Uhâ €¦ whoâ €™s watching?     Lana points toward the dark hallway leading to the bedrooms. Riley follows her gazeâ €”just darkness.     RILEY   Nice try. You trying to freak me out?     Lana shakes her head, eyes wi...

Our Pitch

Pitch A:  three friends get a ride home, one still waits. Who is the man that picks her up? Pitch B: Two friends get lost in a mirror maze but they see death in their reflection For pitch A it would be really interesting filming this, I believe that it would be easier filming this than pitch b. This film would be filmed at night because it adds more of a dangerous tension to the film. What I do not enjoy about this film is that its a basic storyline where the person gets kidnapped by a random car ride. On the other hand pitch b is more unique and creates a better tension. Also choosing a location to film this would be difficult as well. Pitch B would be a really fun film to be filmed. It would take place at a carnival and there will be a killer. We found this pitch be very unique compared to our first. This film would include a lot of tone and facial expressions when being filmed. The only bad thing about this film is that it may be difficult to film due to different availabl...
