production blog: The end of an era

Hey blog, its me again. So in the last blog I faced difficulties while editing. I searched online to see if this was normal, apparently there is a point when editing that the app lags and messes up the timing of the video's. I asked my group if I should restart the editing on a different app like iMovie. They said not to and try to find a solution. I began to look on google for help and I got NO help. I sat there for a while and thought to myself that there's a lot you can find on social media now and days. I opened tiktok firs and I found help. After watching this video it helped a lot. apparently it is normal.  I then opened up capcut and began to follow the steps of the video. After completing this he video came out. My partners began to work on their parts. they texted me once they finished so I could work on the end credits. I began to work on this. First I added a black screen  and typed the words. I opened the animation button and began to move where I wanted the text to start and end and added a smooth transition. After doing this a made a few more touches and competed the editing. I saved the video I good quality and sent it to my group. It was finalized. That's it blog! we finally completed this project. see you soon. Karina logging off!

Script blog for Short Film

Hey blog! It’s me again! Today i will present my script for my short film FADE IN   SCENE 1 – Living Room at Night   A dimly lit suburban home. A storm rumbles outside, rattling the windows. RILEY (19), a babysitter, sits on the couch, lazily scrolling through her phone. LANA (8), a pale and quiet child, sits cross-legged on the floor, drawing in a notebook.   RILEY   (chuckles)   You have been s quiet all   Youâ €™ ve been so quiet all night, Lana. You sure youâ €™re not a robot?     Lana looks up at her, expression unreadable, then flips her notebook to a blank page and scribbles something. She holds it up:     “Sheâ €™s watching.â €     RILEY   (frowning)   Uhâ €¦ whoâ €™s watching?     Lana points toward the dark hallway leading to the bedrooms. Riley follows her gazeâ €”just darkness.     RILEY   Nice try. You trying to freak me out?     Lana shakes her head, eyes wi...

Our Pitch

Pitch A:  three friends get a ride home, one still waits. Who is the man that picks her up? Pitch B: Two friends get lost in a mirror maze but they see death in their reflection For pitch A it would be really interesting filming this, I believe that it would be easier filming this than pitch b. This film would be filmed at night because it adds more of a dangerous tension to the film. What I do not enjoy about this film is that its a basic storyline where the person gets kidnapped by a random car ride. On the other hand pitch b is more unique and creates a better tension. Also choosing a location to film this would be difficult as well. Pitch B would be a really fun film to be filmed. It would take place at a carnival and there will be a killer. We found this pitch be very unique compared to our first. This film would include a lot of tone and facial expressions when being filmed. The only bad thing about this film is that it may be difficult to film due to different availabl...
