Production blog: putting the scenes together

Hey blog! its me again. So after finishing our music video I began on editing. First thing I did was gather all my video in a photo album so I could keep myself organized. After doing this I found my screen recorded song and added it to the album as well. Next I opened capcut and added all the video in order, that's when I saw the app crashed, so I added them 3 by 3. When adding them I cropped and adjusted them to make sure they were right, then I added more and more videos and continued to do this process. Of course I didn't do all the editing. I left some editing for each partner. I decided to add the song so I could cut some scenes on beat with the song. After doing this I decided to assign certain editing to my partners so they could have editing to work on. As I continued editing I got far pretty fast, it felt natural. As I got use to it, it became very helpful and this would help with future projects. The final thing i edited was the end credits giving song credits and partner credits who did what. This is where we saw a minor problem. As some of us worked on this project some progress did not save. So we had to restart on some parts. Well that's all I did for today. I will explain how I fixed this editing situation next time. See you later. karina logging off.

Hey blog! It’s me again! Today i will present my script for my short film FADE IN   SCENE 1 – Living Room at Night   A dimly lit suburban home. A storm rumbles outside, rattling the windows. RILEY (19), a babysitter, sits on the couch, lazily scrolling through her phone. LANA (8), a pale and quiet child, sits cross-legged on the floor, drawing in a notebook.   RILEY   (chuckles)   You have been s quiet all   Youâ €™ ve been so quiet all night, Lana. You sure youâ €™re not a robot?     Lana looks up at her, expression unreadable, then flips her notebook to a blank page and scribbles something. She holds it up:     “Sheâ €™s watching.â €     RILEY   (frowning)   Uhâ €¦ whoâ €™s watching?     Lana points toward the dark hallway leading to the bedrooms. Riley follows her gazeâ €”just darkness.     RILEY   Nice try. You trying to freak me out?     Lana shakes her head, eyes wi...

Our Pitch

Pitch A:  three friends get a ride home, one still waits. Who is the man that picks her up? Pitch B: Two friends get lost in a mirror maze but they see death in their reflection For pitch A it would be really interesting filming this, I believe that it would be easier filming this than pitch b. This film would be filmed at night because it adds more of a dangerous tension to the film. What I do not enjoy about this film is that its a basic storyline where the person gets kidnapped by a random car ride. On the other hand pitch b is more unique and creates a better tension. Also choosing a location to film this would be difficult as well. Pitch B would be a really fun film to be filmed. It would take place at a carnival and there will be a killer. We found this pitch be very unique compared to our first. This film would include a lot of tone and facial expressions when being filmed. The only bad thing about this film is that it may be difficult to film due to different availabl...
